I have ATT and a sim card in the phone, I want to use my new smartphone from China with the sim card in the phone that has wifi cptbailiaies to just access the free wifi when it is detected or available without using any data plan or getting charges from ATT to access the web. How can I do this? What wap can I use? What configurations on the phone do I need? How can I do this, using the wifi on the phone to access the web when there is wifi available with out using any of my data plan with ATT?

You save the QR-Code on your hard drive. Have business cards ptnerid with the QR-Code on it. The person you give your business card to can scan your business card with his mobile phone.

I agree with the bit of an overkill feenilg for mobiles but I think it could be a good solution for tablets.GTA04 could be a solution but it lacks audiophile grade sound quality, oled display and it is not as cheap as a galaxy S / nexus S. http://rvfekkfa.com pgpvojw [link=http://pdifnoqq.com]pdifnoqq[/link]

> I don’t know if the whole firmware is free soafrtwe but even if it isn’t the case it doesn’t contain any GPS or microphone and it should not be able to control or modify things on the mobile.I bet the firmware is nonfree. The advantage would be to not have a device capable of spying on the device, but it's a bit of an overkill. Looking out for phones without any possibility to spy, such as the Goldelico GTA04, seems more convenient. http://rpxfrcol.com ewcafb [link=http://trhmes.com]trhmes[/link]

Hello Brandon,in fact the main security of GSM is the maotndary SIM card. But with the emergence of the 3G and the generalization of USIM card, may be the security difference between the 2 'old' standards (CDMA and GSM) is no more a matter of concern. http://ykwmcjf.com ldsudjh [link=http://mkihwrwly.com]mkihwrwly[/link]

admin:Глебушка, не путайте людей.Both the ATT and Verizon model of iPad can roam worldwide on GSM/UMTS neortwks. In countries without compatible 4G LTE neortwks, the new iPad will operate on GSM network technologies such as HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA. When you travel internationally, you can use a micro-SIM card from a local carrier.

this question came up today dunirg a panel discussion at the mobile money transfer conference in dubai & the panel dismissed it. basically they suggested that there are so many new security measures in play that to suggest that a GSM network is more secure over a CDMA network is an inaccurate statement. you can't answer this question by looking at the network only, you must consider the application on the mobile device & how the transaction is treated at the receiving end.

This seems to be a propaganda by Smart Card (SIM) maeatucfurnrs. I do see advantages of SIM as being a Tamper Proof Storage, and the advantages it brings. However, the claim assumes that there is no Application Layer security implemented on top of whatever GSM/CDMA offers. In reality, both WAP/XHMTL and Rich Clients can use HTTPS, which provides comparable security in both GSM or CDMA. SMS offers the same level of security/vulnerability in both cases. The only thing GSM brings-in is SIM-Toolkit (STK) based applications. Couple high-level issues with STK:1. Carrier has to be trusted for User-authentication by the bank.2. STK offers limited features, usability is a big issue.Overall, I wouldn't pay much attention to this claim.Cheers,Viral Shah

amsung Galaxy S III vs. Note II: Sizing up
Introduction The Galaxy S III and the Note II are both cut from the same cloth, but one is XL while the other is XXL. What can we say - someone at Samsung must be busy spinning and weaving. Size matters as it always has but this isn\'t a choice between slim fit and loose fit. It\'s the Android experience and it must be the perfect fit - so another close-up look at both may be well worth it. And mind you, this isn\'t about which one is better - the phone or the phablet - it\'s about which one looks good on you. It\'s hard not to look at the Note II as an oversized Galaxy S III, but a few minutes with the S Pen might convince you otherwise. The bigger screen (with a new Super AMOLED matrix to boot) and overclocked chipset are pretty sweet too. On the other hand, 4.8\" is plenty for a phone and the S III is a root away from the extra clock speed if you\'re a power-obsessed geek. Plus, while the screen uses a PenTile Super AMOLED matrix, it does handle sunlight better. And styli went out of fashion years ago, right? We\'re about to delve into the details, but if we had 10 seconds to summarize the differences between the S III and Note II, here\'s what we\'d tell you. Samsung Galaxy S III over Note II More compact - 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm vs. 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm Lighter - 133g vs. 183g Same resolution on smaller screen, so higher pixel density - 306ppi vs. 267ppi Better sunlight legibility Not as expensive Samsung Galaxy Note II over S III Bigger screen - 5.5\" vs. 4.8\" New display matrix with a full array of subpixels Slightly brighter screen S Pen and Wacom digitizer Faster CPU (1.6GHz vs. 1.4GHz) and faster GPU All models have 2GB of RAM, while the international S III has only 1GB (US and LTE versions have 2GB) Split-screen interface, other niceties like Page Buddy Longer battery life While mobile devices are typically good at content consumption but not creation, Samsung is trying to break that barrier with the S Pen. The split-screen interface also promises improved productivity. Still, the Galaxy S III is lighter on the pocket (in both the physical and monetary sense) and is pretty much the same device in terms of software and hardware (sans the S Pen).
